Blossom and Root

For an adaptable, creative and nature-based curriculum that accommodates a variety of learning styles, we recommend Blossom and Root. Blossom and Root is a nature and literature based curriculum designed for families with active and creative learners who are allowed to learn at their own pace Blossom and Root was created by a homeschooling mother who wanted a curriculum that emphasized a love of nature, literature and arts. Blossom and Root focuses on the development of the whole child and incorporates art, play-based studies, literature and nature study to provide a foundation based on a love of learning. Blossom and Root is a particularly good choice for active multi-sensorial students and parents who want to be highly engaged with their children and the world around them. Some families believe that the Blossom and Root curriculum requires additional math components and also requires a decent amount of involvement from parents. This curriculum is not suited for parents wanting a highly rigorous curriculum.
