They use bright characters to interact with the students and guide their learning. Dance Mat Typing was created to help students learn how to type correctly and efficiently. Students choose the level and stage they wish to start at. Animated characters guide them through all the lessons and diagrams help children find out where to place all their fingers on the keyboard. Parents enjoy how the program is fun and interactive with the kids. It isn't dry and keeps them entertained. Parents also enjoy how students can easily use it independently. Some parents found that Dance Mat Typing was very difficult on the iPad and contained multiple distracting ads.
