Woodcock Johnson
For a short but detailed analysis of cognitive abilities that can be used to access children of all ages, we recommend administering the Woodcock-John Tests of Cognitive Abilities. It contains over 35 tests of different skills, and is easy to administer. It was a psychology test devised in the 1990s, recently updated in 2014. It was meant to follow the Cattell-Horn-Carroll theory of human intelligence. Parents can administer the test, and report the scores onto the app. It is great for syncing data. Also, the data is specifically tailored to the specific test. On the app store, there are a lot of review of frequent crashes. Families who homeschool can take the test through Seton Testing.
Grades: PK - 12th
Cost: The cost is uncertain. The app itself is free. However, obtaining a login seem to require purchase by an administrator. The website offers paper tests, but only in bulk.
